Happy Halloween from Team KO!

Dr. Kravitz and Team Kravitz Orthodontics are excited to host their 4th annual Halloween Candy Buy Back day for Arcola, Aldie, Buffalo Trail, Hutchinson Farm, Liberty, Little River, Middleburg, Moorefield Station, Pinebrook, Lunsford and Mercer! Come into our office on Tuesday, November 5th from 9 am-2 pm with your leftover Halloween candy and earn money for your school's PTA. Each school will receive $1 per pound of candy, up to 5 pounds per child. Bring your family, friends and neighbors to earn the most money!

To get into the Fall spirit visit Pinebrook Elementary this Saturday October 26th 5pm-8pm. There will be tons of fun activities including outdoor movies, put a staff member in the jail, food & drinks, a moon bounce, and many more!!

When you think of the word brave, a few things may come to mind. You visualize a person who has courage, strength and determination. When we think of Gavin Rupp, the word brave just doesn't seem to be enough. We were saddened by the news of 13 year old Gavin's diagnosis of terminal brain cancer. Loudoun South Eagles are extremely lucky to have such a fantastic player on their team, #15!!

Glory Days in Stone Ridge hosted a fundraiser on Tuesday, July 16th for Gavin. 10% of all proceeds were donated to the Rupp family. We are happy to announce that our team here at Kravitz Orthodontics raised over $200 that night.

We had such a great time seeing all of our patients and their families and listening to the bands that volunteered their time to support Gavin. Shout out to our patient Hunter Blasberg for doing a fantastic job performing with his band, the "First Class Losers" as well as his dad's band, "Swiftkick". They were amazing!!

Loudoun 8U South Eagles brought a huge smile to Dr. K's face today when Coach Vince brought in this signed baseball from the entire team! Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of the 8U family! GO EAGLES!!!

Kravitz Orthodontics is proud to announce that we are the major sponsor for Freedom High School athletic program! Dr. Kravitz has generously sponsored the construction of the brand new press boxes on the baseball and softball fields at Freedom Field. Be sure to look for our banners throughout the complex and give a shout out to Dr. K! Team KO will be at the dedication ceremony and senior presentation on Wednesday, May 22nd at 7 pm to award a male and female senior student with athletic scholarships! This family-fun event was held on Saturday, December 1st and participants received a pair of reindeer ears. Too fun! Liberty Elementary's PTA does a fantastic job with organizing lots of fun events during the entire school year. Congratulations to ALL of those who walked, jogged and ran on Saturday!

The Loudoun South 10U Eagles is a travel team that has continued to excel in the great sport of baseball. This amazing group of kids are led by their incredible coaches who are dedicated to the team success, heart and soul. Check out their trophy-wow! Hi friends! Team Kravitz had a great time last night at Lunsford Middle School's international night hosted by the PTA.

We really enjoyed the student and teacher performances-shout out to Mrs. Cadigan for singing a beautiful Irish song, what a voice!

Many families prepared foods from their heritages and it was a pleasure learning about each.

Hi friends! We are very excited to announce that Arcola Elementary School chorus group has been asked to sing at the National Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington DC, for the second year in a row. Congratulations Arcola! Kravitz Orthodontics is sponsoring this talented group of students by donating red scarves for them to wear while singing and to keep warm of course! Mercer Middle School has recently been designated as a "school to watch" by the National Forum Initiative. Congratulations Mercer! Principal Duellman, a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan, has really been a big part in encouraging students to get involved in school activities. He did a great job leading the Team Mercer at the staff "Hoops for Hope" basketball game. Our office has sponsored many of Mercer's PTA events and items on their wishlist. We recently learned that the PTA has been able to purchase a new poster maker for the school and new professional cameras for the yearbook club! We had such a blast Friday night at Pinebrook Elementary in Aldie! Team Kravitz was there to support the PTA to raise money for iPads in the classrooms. Principal Thiessen was at the event to call out the numbers as they were being drawn-what a great guy! It was great to see the large number of people who came out, the students loved the prizes that we donated. PTA events are very important in each school, it's the PTA who ensures that the students have fun activities and new classroom materials every school year.
